TSAT SCITT - Online information session

Join Our First Online Information Session: Become a Teacher! We’re hosting our first online information session on Tuesday, December 3rd at 18:00, and we want you to join us!

TSAT SCITT’s vision is to help realise the life chances and dreams of every child. Join us as a trainee teacher to support our mission and shape the future.

High quality teaching is the single most impactful factor in our classrooms. We want to help create the next generation of talented teachers for TSAT and the wider profession. That is why we are the exclusive SCITT partner in the Sheffield City Region of Teach First, a national charity that develops teachers and leaders who are determined to make a difference.

Our one-year programme involves a powerful mix of self-directed, live training and one-to-one support in a school of your choice, all supported by Teach First’s Ofsted Outstanding, research-informed curriculum. And at the end of it, you'll be awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).

Why train with us?

TSAT is one of the longest established multi-academy Trusts in Sheffield, and we have a proud history of providing high-quality initial teacher training in our range of Primary and Secondary schools.

Our pathway is a fully immersive experience, involving you in the life of your school community from day 1 and quickly establishing you in the classroom.

TSAT is an ‘Institute of Talent’ – and our offer is on a relatively small scale – allowing us to really invest in each of our trainees with a personalised, bespoke approach, ensuring that they become excellent classroom practitioners.

Each trainee is issued with a work laptop to support their online expert training modules/teaching.

As a TSAT SCITT trainee, you get to explore the Trust, visiting a number of settings, working across Phase and networking with expert colleagues/specialists across the organisation.

Find out more details about our SCITT, the work that we are doing and the opportunities we offer at this online event.
